Two months without a blog post is way too long. I would like to say that we were off doing something very exciting, but we weren't. Between the holiday season and physical therapy and a plethora of life just happening, we've kept ourselves busy.
Several months ago, Brynlee was able to make a wish through Make A Wish. She wished to go visit Belle and the Princesses, and she was granted a wish to go to Disneyworld. Today we were able to celebrate Brynlee's wish with some of our family and friends at Brynlee's Star Raising Party. Brynlee absolutely loved being back at the Make A Wish building and had a lot of fun at her party.
The party started with the history of Make A Wish and a tour through the building. Brynlee was able to show everyone where she made her wish in the castle tower, and her dad was able to make his wish for Brynlee since he wasn't able to do so with the rest of our family when she made her wish back in September. His wish was for Brynlee to always be strong and that she may always have a wish or something in her life to look forward to.
After the tour we had cookies and root beer floats and Brynlee was able to draw on her star to make it her own. Here she is with her star. Her star has a purple center since that is her favorite color.

We are so grateful for those who were able to attend and know that we had many more who were not able to attend that would have loved to have been there as well.
