Heaven welcomed another little angel home today.

Just another reminder of how quickly things can change and go downhill in the cancer world.

This blog is all about Brynlee and her journey with cancer and spinal cord injury. Brynlee was first diagnosed with stage IV intermediate-risk neuroblastoma when she was 7 months old. She also sustained a spinal cord injury from the compression of the tumor on her spine and has lower extremity paralysis. Shortly after her second birthday her scans revealed that her tumors were growing again. Now at 3 years old, she is still undergoing treatment for cancer and learning and adjusting to life as a cancer fighter and survivor and a paraplegic.

As a gift to His human children, the Great Spirit created butterflies. He took black from the maiden's hair, yellow from the warm sun, and blues from the lake and sky. Once he gathered the most beautiful of colors, He made them into butterflies. If you want a special wish to come true, whisper your heart's desire to a butterfly. Since butterflies make no sound, they cannot tell the wish to anyone but Him. Being so colorful, the butterflies will easily be seen as they fly to heaven. The wish will be taken by the wings of love to heaven to be granted.
